He's Got the Look: These boots are so comfortable! Just what I was hoping for and more. I am really a 7.5 but when buying Uggs I always go down to a 7 instead of up. These boots are still very roomy on my foot, but I don't think I could have went down to a 6. These are a bit more loose/roomy than typical Uggs because of the stretch in the "sweater" material. I think that just makes them more comfortable.

Okay, I don't usually buy shoes online/mail order because shoes seem to vary is size from brand to brand, but....I had been looking for a pair of slip on semi-dress shoes for a couple of weeks, but I had two qualifications that had to be met: They had to not be expensive, and they had to be somewhat plain looking. When I saw these Rockports at the clearance price, I knew that I had to jump on them.I'm not a huge fan of the squarish toe design, but they are growing on me. I have them in size 11.5 and they look a big like clown shoes, but that's the fault of my large feet, not the shoes. :) The color selection left at the cheap prices was odd, but the Tan isn't too bad. I have a feeling that it will look a little nicer once they fade some.They are comfortable, not requiring much break-in and I expected that, since they are Rockports.Summary, good shoe, great price, somewhat funky color.UPDATE: 01/07/2009 - My wife and sister do not at all like the square toe look of the shoe, or the color. I'm not crazy about the shape (think pilgrim shoes....) but I still like them enough to keep wearing them.

It had smooth edges and was well constructed and sturdy. I recently lost my wallet and purchased another to replace it. For starters, it was already scratched before I even opened the package. When I took it out, (much to my regret, since I can no longer return it) the metal was half as thick and had sharp, jagged edges. It felt like it would cut my hand if I reached for it in my pocket. Not to mention the metal sides were already starting to bend out of shape. Three years ago I would have said it was amazing... now? DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT unless you want a small volume of scrap metal tearing away at your pockets. A binder clip would be better than this.
